At Beauteast, we believe jewelry should be beautiful, wearable, and clearly explained.

Each Beauteast piece is selected for its design, structure, finish, and everyday styling potential. Because different designs require different materials and surface treatments, materials may vary by product.

To help you understand what you are wearing, we separate material information into two parts:

- Base Materials: what the main body of the piece is made from
- Finishes & Plating: the surface color, coating, or plating applied to the piece

Please always check the individual product page for the exact material composition, finish, and care guidance.

Base Materials

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is commonly used in Beauteast pieces designed for everyday wear. It is known for its durability, polished surface, and resistance to everyday surface wear.

Depending on the design, a piece may use 316 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, or another stainless steel grade. When a specific grade is available, it will be listed on the product page.

Stainless steel is often used for rings, earrings, bracelets, chains, and other pieces that need a strong structure and clean polished finish.

Copper Alloy

Copper alloy may be used for more design-focused pieces because it allows for expressive shapes, sculptural forms, and detailed surface textures.

Compared with stainless steel, copper alloy generally requires more careful wear and storage. It should be kept dry and away from perfume, sanitizer, lotion, sweat, household chemicals, and heavy friction to help preserve the finish.

Copper alloy is often suitable for statement earrings, sculptural pieces, and designs where shape and texture are more important than heavy daily wear.

Sterling Silver

Some Beauteast pieces may be made with sterling silver. Sterling silver is a precious metal commonly used in jewelry, but it may naturally oxidize over time when exposed to air, moisture, sweat, perfume, or certain chemicals.

This oxidation is a normal material characteristic and can often be improved with gentle cleaning using a suitable silver polishing cloth.

Sterling silver pieces should be stored separately in a dry place when not worn.

Gold

Beauteast does not describe a piece as solid gold unless the product is truly made from solid gold.

In most Beauteast product descriptions, gold-tone, gold-plated, or 18K gold-tone refers to the surface finish or plating color, not the base material.

If a piece is made from solid gold, gold vermeil, gold-filled material, or any other specific gold material category, this will be clearly stated on the product page.

Cubic Zirconia

Cubic zirconia may be used to add clean sparkle and refined light reflection to selected designs.

To maintain its clarity, avoid contact with oils, lotions, perfume, sanitizer, and cleaning products. Gently wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.

Pearls

Pearls and pearl-inspired materials require gentle care. They should be kept away from perfume, cosmetics, water, sanitizer, and strong impact.

Put pearl pieces on after applying skincare, makeup, or fragrance, and store them separately to avoid scratches.

Finishes & Plating

18K Gold-Tone PVD Plating

Some Beauteast gold-tone pieces are finished with 18K gold-tone PVD plating.

PVD plating is a surface treatment that can offer better durability than traditional electroplating, depending on the material, thickness, and wear conditions. However, it is still a surface finish and should be cared for properly.

To help preserve the gold-tone finish, avoid direct contact with water, perfume, sanitizer, lotion, household chemicals, sweat, and heavy friction.

Gold Electroplating

Some pieces may use traditional gold-tone electroplating.

Electroplated finishes can create a beautiful gold-tone surface, but they are generally more delicate than PVD finishes and require more careful wear.

To help reduce fading or surface wear, avoid water, perfume, sanitizer, lotion, sweat, household chemicals, and frequent friction.

Silver-Tone Finish

Some silver-tone pieces may use the original color of stainless steel, sterling silver, or another silver-colored base material. Other pieces may use a silver-tone surface finish.

Please check each product page to understand whether the silver appearance comes from the base material itself or from a surface treatment.

Polished Finish

Many Beauteast pieces feature a polished or mirror-like finish. This finish gives the jewelry a clean, reflective look, but it can show scratches or surface marks over time with regular wear.

To help preserve the polished surface, store each piece separately and avoid contact with rough surfaces or other jewelry.

Brushed or Textured Finish

Some designs may use a brushed, matte, hammered, folded, or textured finish to create more depth and sculptural detail.

Textured finishes may naturally catch light differently across the surface. Avoid heavy rubbing or polishing cloths that are too abrasive, as they may change the intended surface effect.

Color and Finish Changes

All jewelry finishes may change over time depending on material, plating type, wear frequency, skin chemistry, storage conditions, and exposure to water, sweat, perfume, sanitizer, lotions, or chemicals.

Proper care can help extend the life of the finish, but it cannot prevent all signs of wear.

To preserve the appearance and structure of your jewelry, we recommend the following care steps:

- Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, sanitizer, lotion, and household chemicals.
- Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
- Avoid heavy friction, pulling, bending, or impact.
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wear.
- Store each piece separately in a dry place.
- Keep jewelry away from high humidity, direct sunlight, and extreme heat.

Sensitive Skin

Everyone’s skin is different. While selected materials such as stainless steel and sterling silver are commonly used in jewelry, Beauteast does not claim that every piece is hypoallergenic for everyone.
